leathery knotweed. Polygonum erectum L. ssp. achoreum (Blake) A. & D. Löve • ME, VT. Fields, roadsides, waste areas, railroads, lawns. The report of this species in CT by Magee and Ahles (1999) is based on a specimen of Polygonum buxiformeAhles 85330 ( MASS!).
