  • 1b. Inflorescence hemispherical, gray to light yellow-brown, 3–4 mm wide; bractlets sparsely pubescent with clavate hairs; flowering scape with 4 or 5 ridges; each rosette of leaves producing 1–4 flowering scapes; plants of tidal shores
