Facts

Bird's-eye pearlwort is native to North America, but introduced widely in other parts of the world, surprisingly even in Antarctica. It is found in moist to wet soils in river and lakeshores, as well as lawns, roadsides and even the cracks in sidewalks.

Mesic, or more commonly, wet-mesic to hydric soils of river banks, ledges, lawns, roadsides, cracks in pavement, and shorelines.
